We left Safaga in the evening, and it was a day's trip up to the
bottom end of the Suez Canal.
As we came closer to the mouth of the canal, we started to see
lots of different types of ships positioning themselves for the
convoy northward through the canal, starting early the next morning.
(NOTE: This picture was taken from the ship's 2 hole, par 1 golf
