Grand Turk - Turks and Caicos Islands

So here we go...

 

I spent a month in Ft. Lauderdale before leaving on this 73 day trip around Africa to Portugal.

 

As we left Port Everglades in the evening, this was a view back to "my" Ft. Lauderdale - the beach between Las Olas and Sunrise, part of the lower end of the Gold Coast It seemed like I could almost touch the liners as they came and went out of the port each day, so it was cool to look down at "my" beach from the ship!

 

My little apartment is one block behind the 4 largest buildings on the right - the Atlantis, Trump Tower, the St Regis and the Sheraton - not a bad neighborhood, huh?!?!?
