Cape Town, South Africa

So, after leaving Walvis Bay in Namibia, it was a two day sail to Cape Town.

Now, it is always a joy sailing into Cape Town - the city is built in an amphitheater, against the ocean, surrounded by Devils Peak, Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill. It definitely ranks among the most scenically beautiful cities in the world.

We sailed in just at dawn - the lights of the city were still glimmering along the shore, and the sunrise was golden against the mountains and the clouds. And Table Mountain was covered with its famous table cloth!!
